System Overview
Anti-sniper system is a new type of passive defense system that can be installed on a vehicle, vessel or vital equipment. When faced with a terrorist shooting, the system can quickly and accurately find the target, and display the position and image information of the snipers to help spot anti-attack or arrest.
Anti-sniper detection system consists of a microphone array sonar, targeted sound detectors and electronic compass orientation device. And it can continuously detect and process a variety of acoustic pulse signal in the environment. Once monitors the shooting incident, it automately make decisions and output target azimuth, elevation angle, distance to the display and control unit. The electronic compass can provide system reference direction, and the display control unit displays the results and records the calculating results of sound measurement units, while leading the video turntable steering to rotate to the target orientation and position displaying shooter’s image information. By handle operation, display and control unit can control PTZ omnidirectional rotation.
